Belly
Binding
A woman's abdominal and pelvis muscles are stretched during pregnancy to accommodate the developing child. Our talented belly binding specialists are here to help you recover with traditional techniques. Belly binding aims to assist in the recovery of the internal organs and muscles after childbirth, preventing potential complications like uterine prolapse, incontinence, constipation and humpback. Our specialists will give a massage and apply a binding cloth from your chest bone down to your pelvis. Contact us today to schedule an appointment!

What is diastasis recti?
When a woman is pregnant, her abdomen generally grows by 7-35 centimetres within 9 months. The abdominal muscles will stretch, which may lead to two types of abdominal rectus separations: structural and functional separation.
When can belly binding treatment be carried out?
Natural delivery: 6-8 weeks after delivery and the lochia has been cleared.
Caesarean section: 8-12 weeks after delivery and subcutaneous wounds have healed.
What is the golden period of belly binding?
RELAXIN is a hormone produced in the human body, usually after ovulation. Hormone levels rise in the early and last weeks of pregnancy. The main function of relaxin during pregnancy is to relax the pelvic muscles, which is conducive to vaginal delivery.
Relaxin is still in the body within three months to one year after delivery, which is the best manipulation time.
What are the different types of belly binding?
Originally, there were Indonesian belly binding and Malaysian belly binding techniques. From these origins modern practices have emerged and belly binding is becoming increasingly popular.

How to measure the diastasis recti by yourself?
1. Lie flat and bend your knees 45 degrees.
2. Place your index and third fingers directly above your belly button. Your fingers should be aligned side by side and pointing toward your feet.
3. Use your fingers to slowly move from the sternum to the direction of the umbilicus, keep the muscle at the pelvic floor muscle contracted. Raise your head and shoulders off the supporting surface and feel for any gap under your fingers.
4. Try different positions along the top of the belly button. The distance of the gap (the distance of abdominal rectus muscle separation), usually measured in how many fingers.

Can I have breast massage during pregnancy?
Prenatal breast massage can be beneficial for pregnant women as it improves blood circulation of the breast and prevents breast swelling and mastitis. However, it's essential to note that breast massage can stimulapregnant women before 36 weeks of pregnancy and those with abortion experience should avoid prenatal breast massage.
The first golden period
The first golden period refers to the first two hours of continuous skin-to-skin contact with the baby after birth. This period is crucial as the baby's rooting reflex is at its peak and it helps stimulating milk secretion.
What are the differences between lactation enhancement and milk duct unclogging?
A lactation enhancement specialist helps mothers manage breast milk deficiency through comprehensive massaging, breastfeeding and dietary advice.
The specialist can also help mothers to solve the problems of clogged milk ducts.
Can the problems be resolved after a single lactation specialist intervention?
It's important to note that a single session of lactation enhancement is insufficient to solve breastfeeding problems. It is best if the specialist can intervene during the golden milk period or give 2 to 3 consecutive days of treatment. Mothers can achieve the best lactation outcomes by establishing a balanced diet, having proper rest, and maintaining a pleasant and relaxed mood.
The second golden period
The second golden period is the first 3 to 5 days after delivery. During this period, the more the newborn baby sucks, the more milk the mother produces.
The effect of Lecithin
Lecithin is an ingredient in breast milk which can be ingested through daily diet like soybean products, meat, milk, green vegetables, and animal viscera. It is believed that consuming lecithin can reduce the viscosity of breast milk and help minimising clogged milk ducts.
